1. This position works on a team responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of the Company's food safety intervention systems.
2. This position performs needed welding and fabrication of the cabinetry, framework and piping and system testing prior to shipment to customer sites.
3. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Basic: Word Processing/Typing
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry and trigonometry.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; welding, equipment operation, etc, plus 3 years related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear; frequently required to walk; occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; continuously lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
