Description/Job Summary

The Corporate Account Manager position is part of a team responsible for the successful sales of company food safety intervention solutions.  This position also assists in the creation of new ideas, methods and marketing for food safety intervention solutions as directed from time to time.
 
Through theoretical principles, experience and hands-on performance, this position solves problems and applies performance modifications to a customer's food safety intervention solutions and service that is even better than our products.

Responsibilities/Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Achieve and maintain a 9.0 or greater customer satisfaction rating measured by our customers.
2. Achieve quarterly gross profit and revenue targets.
3. Represent the Company in direct sales of its products.
4. Document competitive activities, market trends and new applications.
5. Further develop and customize the Company's food safety intervention technologies as an economically feasible sanitizing & disinfection medium for the food processing industry.
6. Liaise with the designated R&D leadership in the development and testing of the Company's food safety technology.
7. Work on-site with Safe Foods' customers and commercialization partners to develop optimal, practical, and feasible methods for uses of Safe Foods' food safety interventions.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
 

Required Qualifications

Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel in a car or plane for long distances and time frames.  Walking and standing for long periods of time is also required as part of building relationships during visits or trade shows.  Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Ability to write reports and business correspondence;  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Intermediate: Contact Management, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet
  • Basic: Word Processing/Typing
  • Self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
  • Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently
  • Must be able to be a contributing member of a team

Details

The position of Corporate Account Manager (CAM) requires extensive travel.  The CAM is assigned to an account territory and key accounts.  The majority of travel is by company provided vehicle. 

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear; and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus. 

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, wet or humid conditions; and .The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
